Getting Ready for 2019

Hi folks. Hope you had a great holiday season but now it is time to get busy planing for 2019. That means I have a ton of projects in the works. First, I must report that the Guest House I opened last Memorial day as a vacation rental has been great for my discretionary funds and I have met the most fascinating people. I am already getting booked for the spring.

Because of my success in the above venture, I am now converting my upstairs into a suite for adding another vacation rental. Our area is so very much in need of added lodging as our community continues to focus on increasing tourism in our economically depressed area of Appalachia.

I have the schedule for 2019 classes here at the studio: They are as follows:

March 23rd & 24th ( 2 days, Saturday & Sunday )

Cooperative Hat Blocking Session

No Instructor, collaborative learning experience

Each participant to bring 6 block and supplies & block as many hats as desired by sharing

April 13th, 2019 3 hours

October 4th, 5th & 6th , 2019 ( 3 days, Friday thru Sunday )

Felt Sampler Workshop

Along with these offerings and such, I am still taking classes each Thursday during the school semester at the School of Traditional & Bluegrass music as well as having other engagements. I am thankful to God for His blessings in my life and here is hoping this will be a great year!
