This class fee will provide you with up to 2 nights lodging in the Sycamore Hollow Vacation Rentals that are located on the studio property. It will also provide you with free meals as follows: Each morning there will be a continental type breakfast with coffee or tea, juice, milk, breakfast bars, yogurt, fruit, etc. and each full 6 hour day of class there will be a light lunch of delicious homemade soup and either sandwiches or salad and a dessert. There will also be snacks and refreshments through out the class time. The evening meal will be on your own. There are cooking facilities available for you to use. However, we usually just go out to eat for the evening meal. This class fee also includes all supplies for your to creat a brim and a seperate crown block and one small fascinator or percher hat block.. The half day class will begin at 6pm and end at 8pm. This will be for preparing the foam for carving. It has to sit overnight before you can start the carving process. The all day classes typically begin at 9am and end at 4pm with an hour break for lunch from 12 to 1pm so each day is a 6 hour session. Total class time will be 8 hours of instruction and lots of hands on experience for you. These classes are designed for beginner and intermediate level participants. If you have a friend or significant other that will be taking the class with you, there will be a 10% discount for each of you. ($396.00 each). You will also leave the class with the 3 tools that you use here for the class so you are all set for your future foam block making. If you are local or within reasonable driving distance & don't need as many nights lodging as listed on each class description, the price will be decreased by $50 for each night that you choose not to stay on site.
